Youth & Kids

K-WAM (Kids with a Mission) is the name given to our children’s Sunday morning groups at Christ Church Summerfield. Our desire is to provide a safe and caring environment in which to help our children to love God, love other people and to love life.

Rainbows, Brownies, Guides & Rangers

Girlguiding is active in every part of the UK, giving girls and young women a space where they can be themselves, have fun, build brilliant friendships, gain valuable life skills and make a positive difference to their lives and their communities.

Overseen by Bev Morrison, Brownies, Guides and Rangers meet on Fridays from 5.30pm, in our Memorial Hall. (Rainbows meet at 4.15pm ending at 5.30pm).

Led by Sheila Armstrong, Campaigners is part of the outreach of Christ Church Summerfield.
We have 2 age groups ranging from 10 - 18 years old. Our aim is to teach children to know Jesus and to follow Him. Activities have included gaining awards (including the Duke of Edinburgh's Awards), Campaigner badges, Campaigner Camp, swimming and socials.

We meet on Fridays, at 6.30pm, at the Ark Community Centre.

Teens at Christ Church

Sunday night is Teens Night!

We meet twice a month, once to hang out socially and the other to wrestle with some big faith issues. We've been to the cinema, sweated around Laser Quest, tried to stay upright whilst ice skating and played loads of board games. We've discussed self-image, relationships, creation, other faiths and the resurrection of Jesus.

We come from a range of different faith backgrounds and schools and enjoy this great opportunity to make new friends and have a lot of fun (and popcorn).

For school years 7-13. For more information, contact the Church Office.
